my beautiful and adoring sister bugged me about being too ADD to keep up a blog for long...she's probably right but for now I am posting this just to prove her wrong because that's what big brothers are for!

so my excuse is that I was in Jackson Hole, Wyoming for 4 days last week. it was amazing! i wish i could post pictures but unfortunately i took my camera and then forgot that it existed. i think my new adopted little sis Courtney probably took some. she is a great photographer so if you are friends with her or fans of Zao photography on facebook you can probably see some cool pictures on there in the future.

Jackson was AMAZING! i am NOT a fan of snow but i discovered that if you dont have to live in it every day, it isn't so bad if you are just visiting. i spent a 4 straight days skiing, playing cards, swing dancing, meeting new friends and exploring the various restuarants in town and i cant remember the last time i had that much fun! thanks so much to Kenton and Jen for giving up their home for us, Shannon and co. for showing us around and everyone there for treating us like old friends even though i didnt know you at this time last week!!

Guilty Conscience?

today at work a guy brought in a quarter that is 90% silver and therefore worth about $5. it wouldnt go through the coin machine so he exchanged it for a regular quarter with me. should i feel guilty? cause i dont...

tonight I'm leading my college group Bible study. we are talking about how to relate to other people with focus on being "in the world but not of the world". this has been challenging for me. it seems like anytime i am studying something specific, God sends something my way to test whatever it is that I've been learning. anybody else notice this? some people in this world just seem to be unloveable! but if we don't love people then we can have a relationship with them and we will never be able to share with them the good news that is the gospel so I just have to suck it up and do it!

in other news: KU barely won today...that was disappointing. and K-state lost...also disappointing but oh well.

In the Beginning

ok so now I'm cool because I have a blog like all the cool kids. If you're reading this, you are either a really good friend or someone with way too much time on their hands. Either way; welcome! This is my life, and it is sometimes exciting and sometimes not so exciting. But i will always try to accurately and honestly portray what is going on. So get ready for a random ride! I promise to have a real post soon but for now I have to figure out how this even works
